Inner Balance:  Classes, Workshops and Retreats

 

Christine has created a class and workshop series called Inner Balance which has become one of her signature classes in her practice over the past decade. Inner Balance blends qigong movements with breath awareness, guided imagery, meditation, and chakra energy balancing.  Creating Inner Balance is the retreat and workshop format which offers more time for journaling, creative projects, experiential learning, and facilitated group discussions.

   90 minute - Inner Balance class:

      $15 for single classes

      $50 for 4 class pass ($12.50 per class)


   3 hour - Creating Inner Balance Workshop:

      $30 per session (once a month sessions)


   Day Retreat - Creating Inner Balance

      $120.00 (includes lunch)

Contact Christine to pre-register.  After registation is confirmed, payment can be made through the paypal button.  Registration and Waiver to be signed at first class.  You may bring a mat, pillow or blanket to class for your comfort.



Inner Balance Class Description:

 

Christine has developed the Inner Balance Class by integrating gentle movements that are based in Eastern traditions such as tai chi and qigong, with a focus on breath, meditation and energy balancing. She has a soft style of teaching that is easy to follow, even if it is your first time.

 

This 90 minute class starts with a gentle warm-up for 15 minutes to bring awareness to your breath and to the present moment. Then you are guided through seven specific energy balancing movements which are connected to the chakra system that are paced with your own breathing pattern. The class ends with a 15 minute guided meditation and personal reflection, allowing one to focus more deeply on breathing and the emotional integration of the movements.

 

The class is done standing, and if needed sitting in a chair. The most benefits are received from regular practice and by learning to integrate parts of the class into your daily life routine. The goal is to increase the energy in your body, while balancing your mind, emotions and spirit.

 

The class is enjoyable for all levels of practitioners and for all physical abilities. No experience necessary. This class is easy to follow if you are coming for the first time. Christine also offers students an option to use an audio recording that guides you through the movements so that they can be easily integrated into your daily routine.



Creating Inner Balance Workshops & Retreats:


Come explore the chakras through a monthly workshop series which will focus on one topic per month. The first 90 minutes will include guided imagery, meditation, journaling, personal sharing and deep listening with the other members of the group. The next 90 minutes will include the Inner Balance qigong movements and a closing meditation.  When offered as a series, you may register for the dates that work best for you, or pre-register for the whole series for a discount.  The retreats extend the time to a full day, and experiential topics related to the chakras are shared throughout the day.
